My goodness, it's been a crazy couple of months. I've been incredibly blessed career-wise. I'm transitioning from working nights to working days in a new job setting. It's in government contractor field and it's been been something I've been wanting to do in our area for a few years now and finally, I'm able to do it. It was worth the wait just for the opportunity I've been given. I'm still going to be in hospitality industry but working super part time (maybe until I'm ready to let go fully #clingy)
Another wonderful thing that happened is I'm working as a personal assistant to a few of my favorite indie authors - Mia Monroe, KM Neuhold and Kelly Fox. I still pinch myself to make sure it's real. It's been a learning experience, I enjoy doing it. I'm looking forward to doing more. I even said that if I could do this full time, it'll be such a dream job!
I'm also working with the wonderful owners of The Story of My Life bookstore. It's a small business owned by two wonderful women who are also independent authors. I assist them. ^_^
As far as reading.. ugh, I've been slacking so hard. I'm making time via audiobooks but it's so different when I had all my free time with just one job. I'm hoping in the future my schedule would free up and I'll get more downtime.
Oh, and I moved my home library to a different part of the house. A bigger room, freshly painted by moi (shortly while doing this, I caught COVID!).
As for my blogging.. I feel like I want to feature more of my book collection but more photos less words?
